The controversy surrounding Son Heung-min and Lee Kang-in continues. Articles about these two players, who have diligently represented the national team and played for the country, keep surfacing.

By now, the entire nation is likely aware of the full context of the incident. I don’t wish to criticize or take sides. After all, both players have their share of fans!

However, I’d like to discuss the issue of immature behavior and actions that should be avoided.

People have varying standards of judgment and ethics, which sometimes leads us to attribute ethical judgments to autonomy and individuality.

In a society that values freedom and competition, there are those who will stop at nothing to outdo others, whether through seemingly insignificant actions or by achieving remarkable feats.

Living in an era where remaining silent can be misconstrued as foolishness, I find myself becoming sensitive and accumulating stress.

We’re expected to be considerate of others and conform to certain appearances dictated by societal norms. Sometimes, this conflicts with our natural emotions, leading to heightened sensitivity and obsessive behavior.

Yet, society often exacerbates this by intentionally creating individuals lacking self-control.

As fervent fans of both players, I hope this incident doesn’t escalate further.

Rather than labeling right and wrong based on outdated frameworks or misconceptions, we should recognize that in an AI-driven world, the standards of law, ethics, and humanity become even more crucial.
